Very, very unfriendly staff, especially with the children. We reserved a table outside, ordered drinks and food. My eight-year-old son comes up and says "the woman says I can't walk through here" sit down at the table or go to the playground "I wasn't there and can imagine the woman's tone. Then he comes back crying "he is not allowed to feed the goats" (he threw some grass over the fence for the goats). Then we got up and drove away, they should be ashamed of hissing at the children like that. We're not coming again! Ps. We drove a little further to the Wümmeblick, the complete opposite of restaurants to sluices.

An idyll. You sit under old chestnuts and poplars and look at the beautiful nature reserve of the Wümme, enjoy the peace and quiet. The food was tasty, the fried green herring with fried potatoes was delicious, and the fish and potatoes were fried crispy. Likewise, the potato soup with crabs is delicious. The waitresses, including the boss, are friendly and quick. The dog of the house, who occasionally swims in the Wümme, is peaceful, remains unimpressed by all the guest dogs, but believes that he gets something from the delicious food of the guests if he lays his head on your leg with the best dog show and looks sad. Unfortunately you thought wrong, it's too tasty for that! The diet does not harm him. The corona hygiene requirements are implemented very well, you are picked up at the terrace entrance behind the stylish cord and brought to your seat, the tables are disinfected and everyone who is not walking around wears MNS.

Very best location, top quality of the food, super friendly, attentive service. Hygiene plan consistently implemented under Covid-19 conditions, not just pseudo-documentation of the guests present, but also here no compromises. The long way is worth it here.

Food, restaurant and service are good ... BUT, the CHEF insults me that she is not in the mood to uncover clean tablecloths after, unfortunately, an apple spritzer fell over during our children's schooling party ... I find that unbelievable! The whole family felt rude and abused. This is not a way of dealing with 6 customers. They won't see us again ...

My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner on the spur of the moment as we discovered the place on a bike tour. Luckily! A wonderful restaurant, very nicely located, the food was outstanding. Unfortunately we were already so full that we couldn't try the cake anymore. But soon! I'm completely in love - the waitress was also very friendly, as was the owner. We would love to come back! Beautifully located restaurant with a very spacious outdoor area. Rustic, but not outdated. During Corona times you will be seated, a reservation is recommended. The card is small but nice. The service is quick and attentive, so that we quickly enjoyed a wedding soup as a starter. It was very tasty and well coordinated. The main course was the salad with freshly fried chanterelles and a delicious raspberry vinegar dressing and a tight Max. Both were delicious and very well done. Generously measure the portions. The prices are appropriate and justified for the service. Very nice location and great service. We would love to come back!

Very nice restaurant in the countryside with a historical ambience and a great and exceptionally extensive menu. The food tastes great and the staff is super friendly. Therefore highly recommended.

In a nutshell, good from start to finish. Very beautifully located in the nature reserve Wümme, with a direct view of the Wümme. Very friendly, attentive and brisk service. The food, prepared with regional ingredients, tastes great, with good portion sizes at reasonable prices. It was a pleasure.

Although it is very very very remote, we want to have peace and quiet and want to have a little bit of the feeling of "visiting grandma in the yard". The in-house dog who visits from table to table is also there.

Best Knipp in town with exquisite vistas! Went again 5/29/2019 for a seasonal white asparagus meal. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the fantastic view. We were served very promptly. The meal was excellent! If you have a chance to go, do yourself a favor and do it!

Tasty Northern German food in a tranquil, beautiful waterside setting. Great location to cycle to from Bremen with a rowboat ferry to cross the Wümme river and return on the other side along the levee.
